This is a 2003 Unimog U500 North American spec unit. It was one of two that were converted to 6-wheel drive by Unimog North America with engineering provided by and overseen by Mercedes in Germany. This Chassis would make an excellent platform for an expedition truck. The length from the cab to the rear of the frame rails is 210 inches.
