1956 Corvette Engineering Trim Fitment Body Made By GM Up for your consideration is a very rare GM engineering body. This body was made directly from the 56 clay mold and used for fitment testing of all the chrome and trim on the fiberglass body. To my knowledge it is the earliest 56 body that is still around today. Was used in the GM Tech center in Flint and was sent out to be destroyed.
