In 1987 the first turbo model was introduced and featured a 3.0L that put out an impressive 230hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. The turbo models also featured an engine oil cooler, rear spoiler, a standard sports package with limited slip differential, TEMS adjustable suspension, headlight washer, and an available automatic transmission BUT not with TARGA TOP(targa is not a sunroof). It is estimated that around 30k, mostly all 5 speed manual some automatics, were exported to the United States in 1987...
