This vehicle was originally a US Air Force ambulance based on color of the interior. The truck spent most of its post military life at a fire department in Nevada so the sheet metal has no rust with one small exception as shown in the photos. I had barely started restoration on the truck when my work shop was destroyed in a freak wind storm 4 years ago. Consequently, my priority for this restoration slipped far down the list.
