This dune buggy sat in a barn for many years. It was built around 1968 with a 1965 1500 Volkswagen engine. Has a Hurst shifter, early Buick ralley wheels with GM wheel adapters. Titled as a 1965 Volkswagen convertible because the county has no classification for a dune buggy. I replaced the gas tank, replaced the generator with an alternator, rebuilt the carburetor, and rewired it. It runs great now. It has good brakes and new shocks.
