This is the year Toyota Pickups were at their peak-- its indestructibility has become legendary (just google TOP GEAR TOYOTA TRUCK). Parts for this basic workhorse and its famous 22-R engine are easy to find. I have driven this truck to Iowa 2+1/2 times (2,400 miles round-trip) in the five years I have had it, without any hiccup or warning light.
