I am the second owner, bought in Spokane WA in 1994, it had 32k well maintained miles. I loved driving and the handling of this Merkur Xr4ti. It was my main form transportation for over twenty years putting 100,000 plus enjoyable miles on it. Unfortunately, after my husband/mechanic died, I lack the funds to keep it in top Running condition. So I put it in storage a few years ago with the idea that I would restore it.
