This is a 1970 Datsun 1600 Roadster I spontaneously rescued from a used car lot in Cincinnati several years ago. Despite being a motor vehicle damage appraiser for an insurer for years, and thinking that I had a good handle on what existed in the world, I had somehow never come across one of these cars and had no idea that Datsun and Honda had sold small numbers of roadsters in the US in the 1960's.
