This 1953 Oldsmobile 4 door sedan was built in Southgate, California in February of 1953. One of 3,641 vehicles produced with the Hydra-Matic transmission before the great plant fire that year. The rest of the 1953 Oldsmobiles were manufactured that year with Buick Dynaflow transmissions. This was the first year of 12 volt electrical.
