A lot of time and expense went into this build by the owner of Bob's Customs and Rods, Upland, CA, as his personal show car. The body and running gear were built separately and then assembled. Less then three thousand miles on car since it was built. Originally a coupe, this steel bodied car was converted to a chopped Carson Top convertible with a completely boxed in frame.
