I purchased the Mustang in July of 1997 and it had 37,593 miles on it. My son-in-law and I restored it at that time and we had the body repaired and painted by a local Ford dealer. The engine was removed and rebuilt. New headers, exhaust, shocks, rear springs, tires, brake and brake lines were done. The interior was removed and redone (dash, seat covers, carpet and door panels). We did the restoration for a driver not for show, some items on the engine are not stock.
