I purchased this 1966 Mustang Convertible in North Carolina in 2012 as a "solid driver" with 81,500 original miles on it, then spent 3 1/2 years doing a COMPLETE restoration. The plan was to restore it for myself, so no expense was spared. First, we stripped the car completely down and had the entire body sandblasted.
