Here is a 2000 Jetta GLS. Runs and drives with no problems with 199k miles. Well maintained oil changed every 2k miles . Brakes just recently replaced . Front tie rods along with front and rear shocks were replace 2 years ago . It will need 2 rear tires, (bad cheap tires) the spare tire is on the rear due to that (original rim w/ tire is in the trunk).
