1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback This is a very nice looking 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback. The car has a 1969 Ford 429 4V Big Block Thunderjet Motor mounted to a rebuilt C6 tranmission with a stage 3 shift kit built for high performance. The Galaxie 500XL models were slightly different from the Galaxie 500 models. The XL stood for "eXtra Luxury"that included luxurious interior trim, console, and bucket seats for that "racing feel".
