what a car , besides being Mercury’s answer to the Mustang the Cougar is a few inches longer and a lot more comfortable. This car did not come from the factory with a 429 engine Mercury only made two of them with this engine and they were built for nascar. The engine in this car was blue printed and built by Winn Speed. It’s fast with less than 200 miles on the build. It’s tight and rides and drives good.
