Up for auction is my '69 Corvette Convertible. It is an air/power steering car. It was purchased new here in Augusta, GA by a doctor. His family traded the car in 1979. I bought the car from the second owner, who repainted the car, bought new tires/wheels (Corvette spokes) and purchased a new top in 1984. In December, 1984 the original motor failed about 100 miles after the new paint/wheels/tires. The tires were manufactured in 10/82 and 10/84 and still have the whiskers on them. Yes, the "new" ...
