Up for auction is a 1960 Comet. It is being offered as a project. The car runs and drives but the transmission slips at partial throttle in drive and overdrive. The transmission was purchased new from Monster Transmissions and has about 100 miles on it. It shifted erratically from the beginning. I loosened the TV cable to remedy the problem and then it began slipping.
