Back in 1961, when full-sized American Pontiacs like Venturas, Catalinas and Bonnevilles ruled the road with their Wide-Track styling, Canadian full-sized Pontiacs were built in Oshawa Ontario on the Chevrolet Assembly line with Pontiac styling and Chevrolet mechanical components.
