I bought this car about 10yrs ago from the sister of a VW mechanic. Since I’ve owned it, the car has only been driven on dry nice days spring thru fall. It got wet twice a year for a washing and caught in 2 T-storms over the 10yrs. The only rust spot was at the driver side windshield seal. I cleared it and treated it so it wouldn’t get worse, but the hole is still there.
