I have owned this Beetle since 1989. I drove it as a daily driver until 1997 when I had an engine fire. The fire burned through the spark plug wires and other plastic items in the engine compartment but was put out before damaging the sheet metal. I have held onto it ever since but have come to the realization that I will not restore it any time soon. It's time to go to a good home.
