I bought the 1961 190sl in 1986. It had 89,000 miles on it, but, after I replaced the speedometer, the speedometer shows 59,958 miles. I drove the car for 10 years after a complete paint job, and new leather interior. This car has been in a dry garage since I purchased it in 1986. All chrome has been done at Mars Custom Plating in Mars, PA. In 2015, this 190sl has undergone a complete engine overhaul, or rebuild.
